Strategy: Add An Extra $10k To Your Bottom Line By The New Year

Ready to add $10,000 to your bottom line before the ball drops on the New Year? Let’s dive in!

First, you need to understand the foundation so that we can build upon it.

The foundation is the framework I utilize to Coach all of my clients is Mindset, Method and mastery:

  • Mindset is the deep inner work; it’s where we address your beliefs, your values, and your identity (yep, I’m talking deep, I don’t play around in private coaching).
  • Method is the strategy; it’s the business model, sales process, messaging, marketing, and content strategy you deploy.
  • Mastery is the execution piece; it’s the persistence to carry BOTH Mindset and Method all the way through. 

Now that you understand the overarching let’s talk about how this applies to you adding $10,000 to your bottom line. 


MINDSET

You cannot receive what you don’t believe is possible. If you’re going to be someone who adds $10,000 IN a little over a month, you need to get in the mindset of someone open and ready to receive that abundance.  So, HOW do you get your mindset on board?

Here’s the process:

  • What story am I currently telling myself or experiencing around receiving $10,000 by the end of the year?
  • Would that story be different if I felt enough? How so?
  • Would that story be different if I trusted myself fully? How so?
  • Would that story be different if I was in gratitude? How so? 
  • What’s the new story I want to create from a place of enough, self-trust, and gratitude?
  • What are the aligned actions I can take based on this new story?

METHOD 

It’s time to execute your strategy! Several opportunities are coming up for you to expand upon, Black Friday, the Holidays – the truth that some people are in need to lower their taxable income, so they’re trying to invest now and PAY IN FULL (don’t buy into the belief that people aren’t investing this time of year, they 100% are).

So, here’s where the pace picks up *a little bit faster now* but don’t worry, Projectors, this is still applicable (says the fellow Projector here). 

Now before you dive into the strategies please know that any strategy you implement CAN work, IF you work it. Period. 

Strategy 1: Reach out to people who have previously talked about working with you this year but decided not to for whatever reason. Ask them how they’re doing, ask them if they’re desiring support right now, and if so, what kind? Ask them what they’d be willing to invest to solve x problem they’re communicating to you.

See if that aligns with what you have to offer and extend the invitation. Maybe you voice note them, perhaps you get on a quick coffee chat Zoom call, or perhaps they submit an application. It literally doesn’t matter HOW you do this; that’s 100% your choice.

Remember, the mindset will dictate the strategy. If you knew without a doubt that you KNOW in your heart you’re meant to serve in whatever capacity you do that in, then WHY WOULDN’T YOU FOLLOW UP?! Some people have literally expressed interest, and it’s time to follow up. Close those sales loops. Stand in your power and believe you CAN DO THIS.  

Strategy 2: Black Friday – Oooohohhhhhh yeah, there are varying opinions about the utilization around Black Friday for your business, but to be honest, I don’t borrow beliefs from people who aren’t walking in my shoes or see my vision. So you can try that belief on for size if it fits. You make the rules here, and you decide what works for you. 

So, here's one of the Black Friday strategies:

Tier your offers in a way that supports YOU and your ideal client.

So, let’s say you do $333 readings or $400 intensives – is it possible to offer everyone who books during November and January 14-days of Email or Slack support? Can you offer a two-part payment plan for these offers (only to be conducted once the final payment is made)? Look, you can make this work for you.  Now, you’d have to sell 30 ish of those readings to make $10,000, so let’s see if we can simplify this even more.

Let’s say you’re a Career & Life Coach who sells $2,000 3-month packages! Great. So, logically your mind would go to: Sell 5 x packages at $2,000. – Sure, that’ll work but let’s see if we can simplify even MORE.

What if you stretched your 3-month package to 6-months, raised your rates to reflect that, and sold 2 at $5,000? That’s 10,000 in sales right there. 

Now, if you want to create monthly recurring revenue, a Black Friday strategy you can deploy is to sell your $5,000 package and extend the payment plan to, let’s say, 8 months. That’s 2 months you still get paid, and the client finishes (or decides to re-invest), and you have the stackable income for 2 more months! 

Strategy 3: You can now implement another strategy to help you add 10k to your bottom line by the end of the year: pre-enroll for any Coaching or Service Packages NOW for the next year. Yes, you heard me correctly.  

If you have safety-around payment plans, this is a great opportunity to invite them into your strategy! Instead of simply receiving a down payment for coaching to start in the next year, you can begin the payment plan NOW so that by the time you start supporting them officially, a few months have already been paid! BOOM. Now, this may not make sense for all businesses for all business models but take a look at your offer suite and see what makes sense! 

Strategy 4: Launch a Lead Magnet at the beginning of December that supports one of your high-ticket offers. Now you may wonder how this strategy can help you add 10k but let’s break it down. 
December is a time where mentally, a lot of business owners are slowing down, they’re revisiting all of those courses they bought that sat doormat, they’re traveling to see and visit family in different places, and sure enough, they’ll find the time to pop in their headphones and catch up on all the things they may have been putting off. Now, here’s where you come in. By launching a lead magnet at the beginning of December, you’re creating an opportunity for you to determine who may be interested in what you have to offer, AND you’re giving incredible value to your community.  
 

Here’s a breakdown:

  • November 29 (just because it’s a Monday – no specific reason here) launch your lead magnet, freebie, webinar, masterclass, turn-on event, WHATEVER you decide to the world and launch that baby for 2-weeks straight!    
  • December 13 – Soft launch your high-ticket offer via email privately and invite people into a sales conversation. Again, I don’t care how you do this, but you’ve got to be at least willing to hold someone through their process if they’re willing to spend money with you.
  • December 20 – Live launch to your community announcing that you are enrolling people into your offer/service/program for the next year, and you’re taking payments now! Literally, follow up with anyone who opted into your freebie. Stop being afraid of those conversations. A good rule of thumb is, the higher the investment, the longer the runway may need to be. So, this method works great for projectors because it gives you ample time to live launch in a way that truly does honor your energy and allows you to tap into your flow.
  • December 27 – Announce that this is the final week to enroll in x offer (should that actually make sense for you). At this point, your rates will likely increase for the next year, so you might as well announce it and invite the lovely humans on the fence to take action.
  • December 31 – Pop some champs because you’ve just added 10k to your bottom line before the next year.   

Now, again this is so dependent on your business, business model, price point, energy, etc. but let’s say that the following applies:

  • You pre-sell spots into your $4,000, 6-month mastermind! Pre-sell 3 spots, and you’ve made $12,000. 
  • You pre-sell spots into your $2,500 VIP Days for the next year, so that’s 4-spots at $2,500. $10,000, done. 
  • You pre-sell spots into your $750 Readings for the next year and let’s say you sell 5 at that price point and then 2 spots into your year-long Spiritual Mentorship at 7,800. That’s 3,750 PLUS 15,600, TOTALING TO + $16,350. 
  • You pre-sell spots into your Website Package at $4,200, AND you pre-sell spots into Branding intensives at $1000. Let’s say you enroll 2 clients at $4,200 and 5 at $1000; that’s literally $13,400.

MASTERY

  • You must be willing to work on your mindset daily. And sometimes twice a day. 
  • You must be willing to work on your strategy daily. And sometimes twice a day. 
  • You must be willing to see your efforts through the finish line and sometimes after it.  

Mastery is the KEY component that bridges everything together.

It’s working the Mindset, Method, and Mastery in a way that feels good for you, time and time again.  And each time you level up, it can get more methodical, it can get more strategic, you can THEN start investing in advertisements and in-organic ways of lead generation… but for most of you reading this… you haven’t even mastered THIS simple framework yet: Mindset. Method, Mastery.
